I'm a qualified speech and language therapist and native speaker of English

I have a BSc Honours degree in Speech and Language Pathology. My background in linguistics and phonetics allows me to assist second language speakers of English to minimise the effects of their mother tongue on their spoken English and increase their intelligibility to English speakers around the world. I also tutor Business English for those wanting to improve their English in corporate environments where they are looking for a promotion or simply to improve their confidence and competence when doing presentations or contributing in meetings. My experience as a Speech and Language Therapist includes providing therapy for school-age children who want to improve their literacy, phonological awareness, social communication (neuro-divergent) or those with language and speech delays who need support accessing the school curriculum and general communication in order to express their ideas and opinions. My online sessions are fun, interactive and always customised to the specific needs of the student. I have access to a wide range of resources and learning materials that make the sessions relevant and able to target the specific needs that have been identified. I task students with activities and exercises to complete in between sessions to ensure carry-over from week to week and to ensure new concepts are reinforced and embedded so that swift progress can take place. I look forward to assisting you or your child with accessing English and language in general to allow for successful communication in a wide range of settings.
