A-Level Physics Tutor| Durham University Physics (82%) | 3 A*s | Online | Book for September

I am a First-Class (82%) Physics student at a worldwide top 100 university. Having achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, I know what it takes to beat these exams. Whatever the level. With a subject as notoriously hard as Physics, being “good at maths” is not enough, and this is a common point of frustration in students. Physics requires a unique blend of intuition and understanding; the mathematics needed is not as much as many believe. Lessons are directly driven by the student. When a student is explaining their answer or reasoning to an answer, it is important to ask, “ok, why?. This little push is essential to building a real understanding of the subject, and only then can you defeat the exam papers. The second most vital skill is a surprising one. Confidence in yourself. No one needs 100% to get the grade they want, but letting a single tricky 3-marker in question 2 screw up your mentality is the real danger. A true A* getter understands how to manage their time, their confidence and secure marks. By starting sessions with me, you get access to - 1-1 sessions - Lessons focused on problem solving - Optional out-of-session questions available - A question bank of the hardest exam questions that AQA can offer, all with expert-made guided answers - Regular diagnostic and progress tests The first meeting will be a 30-minute diagnostic session free of charge. This is to gauge the students' level and, most importantly, determine if we are the best tutor-student match. Please send me a message to secure your slot for September.
