Qualified ACCA & ICAEW Tutor – From Introductory Accounting to Advanced Papers (AFM, SBL, SBM) with Exam-Focused Support

I’m Shane Grimes, a qualified ACCA professional, ICAEW trainer, and experienced education coach with over 10 years of teaching and mentoring students across the UK, Caribbean, and MENA region. I specialise in both introductory accounting for beginners and strategic-level exam preparation for professional qualifications like ACCA (AFM, SBL) and ICAEW (SBM). My teaching style is clear, structured, and exam-focused. I understand how overwhelming accounting and finance can feel — whether you're just starting out or facing one of the tougher final-stage exams. That’s why I use proven frameworks like FOCUS (for study planning and productivity) and TMNT (for exam technique and question handling) to help students build real confidence and improve their marks. Each lesson is tailored to your level and goals. Whether you need help mastering the basics of double-entry bookkeeping or tackling advanced topics like hedging strategies, valuation techniques, or strategic case analysis, I provide personalised support that connects theory to real-world relevance. I also offer mock exam feedback, clarity calls, and revision planning to help you maximise your performance. My goal is not just to help you pass — it’s to help you understand, apply, and grow.
