Advert description

English is a great passion of mine, especially English Literature. I specialise in the AQA exam board and love to help students of all abilities including students with additional needs like dyslexia and ADHD. I am very passionate about the GCSE texts and poetry. The texts that I offer are: > An Inspector Calls > Blood brothers > DNA > Animal Farm > Macbeth > Romeo and Juliet > The Tempest > The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde > A Christmas Carol > Great expectations > Frankenstein My previous successes include helping students achieve Grade 9's, lower level students to pass and get into the college of their choice and also fuelling students passion for English and making them fall in love with the subject or like it a little more.

Sab Liakat

Annabelle tutors my son in GCSE English and has had a truly transformative impact on his progress. Since working with her, we’ve seen a remarkable improvement not only in his grades but also in the clarity, structure, and confidence of his written work. She has a real gift for explaining complex concepts in a way that resonates with him, and this has sparked a renewed passion for the subject that we hadn’t seen before. Her patience, encouragement, and consistent dedication have made an enormous difference to his progress, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive influence she has had on his learning and self-belief.

Annabelle has done an amazing job with my daughter's understanding of English Lit concepts and her confidence she got an 8 for her GSCE. Highly recommend her.
