Full-time Piano, Guitar & Music Theory teacher with over 20 years experience

Mark, my music tutor, has been an incredible teacher since I was 7 years old. I would easily rate him five stars for his exceptional teaching skills and flexibility with instruments. Starting with the guitar, I've seen remarkable progress under his guidance. His fun teaching style made practicing enjoyable from a young age, sparking my passion for music, which has now become a significant part of my education and potential career path. As I advanced, Mark introduced me to drums, banjo, ukulele, and piano, showcasing his versatility. His friendly and laid-back approach creates a comfortable learning environment, making each lesson something I eagerly anticipate every week. I've been fortunate to have Mark as my tutor for eleven years, and I continue to look forward to our lessons.

Mark has made every lesson fun and engaging by using popular songs to teach my son the chords involved in each song and, in doing so, prevent the learning process becoming boring. By teaching my son in this way, he has kept him interested despite learning a new skill. My son throughly enjoys his guitar lessons with Mark and I would highly recommend Mark as a music teacher for adults and children alike.

mark has been my piano teacher for nearly 4/5 years. he’s one of the best out there and always helps me with making progress each week

Been having lessons with Mark with years and he truly is a great teacher! Very patient. Highly recommend!

Mark has been teaching me for 9 years. From the start he was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. He has great knowledge for all things music and presents them in a way that is easy to understand. Mark is patient and good at explaining, overall leading to me wanting to carry on lessons as a 16 year old.
