I hold a doctorate in Art History, and have published and lectured widely. I aim to engage students of any level.

I am a well-known art critic and recognised expert in my field, author of and contributor to many books - including on art education - and I have consulted with various art schools/universities on designing new courses. I teach by example, always with reference to the work, to ensure the student stays focused and enthusiastic.
