Qualified Teacher Offering a Mindful Approach to Maths Learning

I am a qualified teacher with experience supporting learners from KS1 through to secondary. As a certified yoga teacher, I bring a calm, nurturing approach to maths tuition, helping children feel safe, confident, and capable - especially those who find maths overwhelming or anxiety‑inducing. My teaching style centres on building confidence first. I break concepts down clearly and gently, using achievable steps, visual methods, and plenty of encouragement. Every lesson is tailored to your child’s needs, interests, and goals. I support learners who need help with primary maths, SATs preparation, or strengthening their foundations for secondary school. I also work with students who are falling behind in GCSE maths and need patient, structured guidance to rebuild understanding and confidence. Our first session will be a chance to explore your child’s strengths, challenges, and learning style so we can create a personalised plan that supports steady, meaningful progress. If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial session, please feel free to get in touch. I’d love to help your child build strong foundations and rediscover their confidence in maths.
