Passionate Politics tutor fostering critical thinking on interconnected global issues through interactive online lessons

I couldn't be more pleased for myself. Sophia is astonishingly bright and understanding of major life concepts. The sessions are helping me understand myself better and the world we live in. I'm very grateful for her support.

I’ve been working with Sophia once a week online, and her tutoring has genuinely changed how I write, think, and communicate. She has a rare ability to teach political theory and comparative politics in a way that is both intellectually demanding and completely accessible, and her framework for debating—the cognitive, relational, and energetic layers—has helped me stay clear and grounded even under pressure. I’ve noticed real results in my essays and in how I approach difficult conversations. Sophia is also remarkably flexible and easy to work with, and I recommend her without hesitation.

Sophia really tailors her lessons to my individual needs. She has a wonderful way of motivating me with her tasks and encouraging personality. Working with her is truly a joy, and I learn so much!

I started lessons with Sophia because I was honestly lost with essay writing at uni. I never really knew how to get my ideas on paper in a structured way, but she helped me a lot with that. What I liked is that she didn’t just tell me what to write but asked questions that made me think about my own arguments and how to make them clearer. She also explained theories in a way that actually made sense and linked them to real-life stuff, which made things way less boring than in lectures. I definitely feel more confident now when I have to write essays or prepare for exams. I’d recommend her if you want someone who’s patient, kind, and really supportive

Sophia really changed the way I look at things in sociology. She kept bringing history into it, which at first felt heavy, but then I realized it actually helps to see where today’s problems come from. That made me think way deeper. She also showed me how to structure my arguments better in essays — before I was just kind of throwing ideas around. Now I feel like I can actually build an argument. Honestly, I learned a lot without even noticing it sometimes.

I would totally recommend Sophia as a teacher for anyone who needs a kind helping hand. She was very gracious and patient with me and made me feel comfortable even when I was not getting the very obvious. I believe she's a super knowledgeable teacher, actually about different subjects, because I took several classes with her, and I also think she has great empathy and very good human capabilities. You feel like when she teaches you, she actually cares for both the quality of knowledge and you as a student.
