Experienced Qualified Online Physics Tutor Cut-Price! A-Level Tutor with First in Mathematics from the OU at 18

My name is Juan Rajagopal - I am 19 years old and a second-year Physics student at Imperial College London. I achieved 3 A*s in Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 1 A in Further Maths at A-Level. I have always been very passionate about maths. When I was 12, I enrolled in a first-year maths module, and upon receiving good results, I continued to enroll in other modules throughout my high school years. I managed to pass with First-Class Honours when I was 18, which I didn’t think was possible! What helped me most during the exams was being able to use the physical intuition I gained in each topic by the innovative teaching methods the OU used. I think this is what allowed me to do so well, and is the reason I have my particular teaching philosophy. My other hobbies include piano - I completed my Grade 8 before attending the RNCM from-and have continued to improve to a post-diploma level. I also enjoy watching football (I am a Liverpool supporter!) and enjoy playing tennis. We will use the first free lesson as a means of determining what you would like to get out of them, what your learning style is like, and to discuss what I can offer you as the tutor. If you don't know yet, there's no need to panic! We'll just go through the syllabus and come up with a long-term plan to help you improve. You can then see if it's something you're up for or not. At the start of each lesson, I will come up with a list of objectives, possibly from the exam board, and then we will go into as much depth as we get to aim to develop an intuition around the topic. For example, if we were to have the aim to 'apply conservation of momentum', the first part of the lesson would be to find a way to help you visualise it, understand it and put it into context by solving questions on it. This approach really speeds up the time it takes to process and answer questions which really is the killer/winner when it comes getting the highest mark you possibly can! If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact me! Juan
