I give CREATIVE maths and physics lessons

With two degrees under my belt: one in Aerospace Engineering and another one in Cosmology and Particle Physics, I've got a serious passion for all things science. I'm currently writing science content for big space companies like ESA/Webb and ESA/Hubble, and I'm a continuous learner - I was even accepted for a PhD in Quantum Biology under the supervision of Jim Al Khalili! When I'm not nerding out about science, I'm writing poetry that incorporates scientific concepts, painting with oils, playing the piano, and even enjoying stand-up comedy about mathematics. My tutoring method incorporates neuroscience-backed techniques that promote deep understanding, visualization, and chunking. By using physics simulations, short videos, and quizzes (IXL website) , I keep my students engaged and motivated, while also prioritizing a simple yet universal problem-solving approach that helps them apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. With my method, students not only excel in their coursework but also develop critical thinking and practical skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Speaking of math, have you heard of "Humble Pi"? It's a fascinating book full of relatable stories about math gone wrong. Did you know that the GPS on your phone actually has to adjust for time differences caused by relativity? But it's not just historical events - even in modern times, simple mistakes can have catastrophic consequences. In 1999, NASA lost a $125 million Mars orbiter due to a simple unit conversion error. Math can be a tricky business, but with my creative approach to teaching, we can tackle it together!
