GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE & LITERATURE TUTOR

I am a 30-year-old Ugandan female with BSc. Food Science and Technology from Monash University, and MSc. Nutrition for Global Health from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have 4 years of experience tutoring Maths and English to primary and secondary school students in the UK. Most of my experience is tutoring GCSE English Literature, English Language and Maths. I also have 2 years of experience tutoring offline. My passion for tutoring began when I was studying for my master’s degree in London (-). I enjoyed interacting with students and sharing knowledge in my free time. Freelance tutoring is ideal for me because I can continue to strengthen health systems while also pursuing my passion to teach. The students I have tutored so far, have gained confidence and achieved high grades. I am hard-working and innovative, I learn quickly and I strive in challenging situations. In addition, I am friendly and I go the extra mile to understand my student’s strengths and challenges which allows me to tailor their lessons according to their needs. I have a certificate in career guidance so I keep in mind the students’ future goals.
