Experienced Head of Department ang Geography Teacher

I am an experienced Head of Department and teacher. I have a BSc Honours Degree in Geography from Exeter University and a PGCE in Secondary Geography Teaching. I have worked in education for almost 20 years in and have experience of Grammar Schools, Private Schools and Comprehensives as well as exam board marking. I am able to help with Years 7-9, GCSEs and A-Levels. My students have a track record of achieving really good grades in school and many of my A level students have gone on to study a Geography related degree course at university. I have a flexible approach to tutoring in the sense that I can focus on areas they identify that need improving or I can work with students more generally to improve overall their subject knowledge, exam technique and understanding, working through fieldwork and A-Level NEA projects and improvements, essay writing, building confidence in their abilities etc. Resources are tailored to each session and can include notes, exam questions, model answers, examiner feedback etc. Please get in touch for more information.
