English Language and Literature tutor with 10 years experience. Tutor for all ages but I specialise at GCSE and A-Level

Liam is an excellent tutor and person on the whole. His ability to make lessons engaging no matter the subject, constant encouragement and breadth of knowledge made our lessons as enjoyable as they were productive. Liam’s tutelage helped me to achieve A*s in both English Literature and English Language GCSE, and an A in Film Studies A level. I would highly recommend him for students of any academic level or aspiration.

Enormously helpful with my studies, Liam was the main reason I passed most of my exams because of his patience and willingness to make sure I understood even the most difficult parts of my course. If you are looking for someone that will get the best out of you and encourage you to enhance/thrive in your work, I couldn’t recommend more.

My daughter has been tutored by Liam and her confidence and performance have significantly improved. In a recent year 9 English test she was top of the class, something that was unheard of a few months ago. Liam analysed her learning style and understood that her brain was more suited to a mathematical approach. He then tailored his teaching and this has certainly got the best out of her. He also works closely with the relevant curriculum so that she is well prepared for class assessments. Despite him moving location, and she will no longer be able to do in-person tuition; I am adamant we will continue with him through virtual teaching since the difference he has made to my daughter is too precious to lose.
