Private lessons for beginners and grades 1-3 standard for ABRSM

Hello, my name is Andy Wang, and I am excited to offer piano lessons for beginners. With a Grade 8 Piano ABRSM certification and Grade 5 Theory certification, I bring a solid foundation of both practical skills and theoretical knowledge to help aspiring pianists begin their musical journey. As someone who has progressed through the structured and internationally recognized ABRSM system, I understand the challenges and joys of learning the piano. My goal is to share this experience with students in a way that is supportive, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs. My lessons are designed to help beginners build a strong foundation in piano playing, focusing on essential techniques such as posture, hand positioning, note reading, rhythm, and dynamics. I also incorporate music theory in a fun and accessible way, ensuring students develop a well-rounded understanding of music. Whether the goal is to play for personal enjoyment or prepare for future exams, I aim to make the learning process enjoyable and inspiring. In addition to teaching, I value patience and adaptability, understanding that every student learns at their own pace. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment, where students feel comfortable exploring their musical interests and expressing themselves creatively. Piano has been an incredible part of my life, and I am passionate about passing on my knowledge and love for music to others. If you’re ready to start your piano journey, I’d be delighted to guide you every step of the way. Together, we can achieve your goals and discover the joy of making music. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you!
