Social Anthropology / Sociology tutor for A‑level and university students, offering online and in‑person lessons in Cambridgeshire

I teach A‑level and university‑level students in Cambridgeshire and online, drawing on my MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, as well as more than six years of experience in academic and non‑profit research. My role is to help you understand complex theories, sharpen your analytical and methodological skills, and build the confidence to express your ideas clearly—whether that’s in essays, exams, or classroom discussions. I break difficult concepts into manageable steps, use real‑world examples to make abstract ideas meaningful, and tailor each lesson to the way you learn best. In other words, we get to explore Social Anthropology and Sociology together! You can expect a calm, supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment where your questions are always welcome and your progress genuinely matters. Together, we’ll strengthen your understanding of the subject and develop the skills you need to succeed.
