Japanese tutor for beginner to intermediate learners

I have a degree in Japanese Studies from Cambridge University, and am comfortable teaching both modern and classical Japanese and incorporating Japanese history, literature and sociology into my lessons. I started learning Japanese several years before starting university, though, and I can remember how apprehensive I was initially; Japanese is often pitched as an 'inherently difficult' language, which made me doubt if I would succeed at becoming proficient at it. In my lessons, however, I aim to show beginner/intermediate learners that Japanese is in fact an incredibly approachable language, and use my experience as a non-native fluent speaker to make its more challenging elements comprehensible, as well as showcase how fun and rewarding it can be to pursue at a higher level!
