Experienced Physics and Maths Teacher. An accomplished physics and maths educator dedicated to motivating and guiding students

Physics and maths are accessible to everyone — when taught clearly, patiently, and with real understanding. I’m a passionate teacher with over 20 years of experience helping students unlock these subjects and achieve results they never thought possible. 🎓 Qualifications • PhD in Chemical Physics, University of Nottingham • PGCE in Science (Physics specialism), University of Cambridge & Homerton College • Extensive experience teaching GCSE, A level, and university level physics and maths 🧪 Teaching Experience I have taught in both state and independent secondary schools, as well as at university level. Since the pandemic, I have delivered over 5,000 hours of one to one online lessons in physics and maths. Nearly all my students have met or exceeded their target grades, and my work is reflected in numerous positive reviews across tutoring platforms. 🔍 My Teaching Approach Every student learns differently — so every lesson is tailored. My method focuses on: • Identifying learning barriers and pinpointing gaps in understanding • Using real life analogies, demonstrations, and simulations to make abstract ideas intuitive o e.g., explaining electric current using traffic flow • Building confidence through guided exam style problem solving from early on • Making lessons interactive, structured, and enjoyable, so students stay engaged and motivated Physics and maths are simply the study of nature. With the right guidance, anyone can learn them successfully. 🚀 What Students Gain • Clear understanding of challenging concepts • Strong exam technique and problem solving skills • Confidence and independence • A supportive teacher who adapts to their needs
