Friendly and supportive qualified science teacher. Experienced teaching students of all ages and abilities

I taught maths and science at a mixed comprehensive school in Oxfordshire for 3 years and have tutored students in the same subjects for much longer. As such, I am comfortable teaching all aspects of KS3 and GCSE biology, chemistry and physics in addition to A-level physics. I believe in a safe environment which will best allow us to develop a young person's confidence and ability. After establishing prior knowledge, we will work from the ground up making sure all of the basics are covered, before working on fluency of content and skills. Former students include those that have gone on to study engineering at Russell Group universities or have had severe special educational needs. My qualifications are listed here: QTS, Department for Education PGCE Science, University of Oxford BSc Physics, University of Southampton Please contact me using my email as my New Zealand phone number will incur costs!
