I teach primary school students english to help them improve their comprehension and writing to achieve the best they can 😊

Hey! I’m Mary and am at the beginning of my studies in undergraduate Psychology at University of Bristol. As a student myself , I know what it’s like to struggle with understanding and motivation, particularly when it comes to a subject like english that can at times be tricky to grasp or approach. I have experience teaching both maths and piano, and spent time earlier this year volunteering as english teacher in Vietnam and Cambodia. I have also worked as a hockey coach and a babysitter for many years, which has helped me to be comfortable and adaptable when working with and engaging with children. I adore reading and writing and have experience writing sample essays for the Irish Leaving Certificate english exam, which I completed in June 2025 I am adaptable, flexible, and always open to correction or guidance!
