Fun and conversational English Literature or Language lessons

If you’re looking for an English tutor who prioritises clarity and conversation over boring exam prep, I’d love to help. I am currently in the final year of my BA in English, bringing fresh academic insight and a proven track record of success. Having achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE and an A at A-Level, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and, more importantly, how to help you get there without the stress and maybe even enjoy it too. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. Whether you’re primary-aged and just need some practice or tackling your GCSEs/A-Levels, I adapt my style to suit your specific needs. My lessons are built on: Hands-on Learning: We don't just read; we engage. I use a practical, conversational style to make complex ideas feel manageable. Unpretentious Analysis: I strip away the academic gatekeeping. We’ll talk about literature and language in a way that actually makes sense. Finding Your Spark: My favourite part of tutoring is discovering a student's unique passion for the subject. When you enjoy the lesson, the progress follows naturally. I would love to discuss your/your child's needs further in the free first lesson and hopefully get started!
