IGCSE/ A Level History Tutor for all age ranges

As an IGCSE/A level history tutor, my goal is to provide my students with a solid foundation in history while fostering critical thinking skills and encouraging them to engage with historical sources. To achieve this, I will first familiarize myself with the history syllabus and ensure that my lesson plans and activities align with it. I will also develop study strategies that cater to different learning styles and help students to retain information. In addition to teaching historical facts and events, I will encourage students to analyze historical sources and evaluate their credibility. I will also teach them how to identify different perspectives on historical events and consider the context in which they occurred. To create a positive and engaging learning environment, I will utilize a variety of teaching methods, including group work, discussions, and multimedia resources. I will also provide regular feedback to students and their families, and work with them to develop personalized learning plans that address their individual needs.
