Really great A Level Maths tutor. Flexible with what topics/ papers I wanted to cover and with timings of sessions as well. Of course, always friendly, kind and genuinely invested in success. Helped me to go from a mid A in mocks to a confident A*!! No notes!

Really great tutor, helped me get an A* in mathematics. He is very patient and explains concepts very well!

He was very helpful, kind and clear in his explanations. I learned a lot from his lessons and would definitely recommend him!

After I had done my mocks for year 10 maths, I started having tutorial lessons with Granville. Before his lessons, I was struggling with knowing how to answer the questions/ what methods I needed to use to answer the questions and how I could apply my knowledge. Granville, helped me understand which methods I needed to use by going through past papers with me and starting at the bottom of the paper with hardest questions first and then working our way up to the easier questions at top and if I needed help on a particular topic, Granville would go through them step by step and give little tricks/ tips to help me remember. He was always patient and very supportive, I would definitely recommend. Overtime, I felt more confident in maths and in my GCSE scored exactly the grade I wanted for my course. Thank you Granville!

Very helpful going over past papers and seeing how to approach the questions.

Excellent tutor. Very experienced, great track record. Excellent preparation for GCSE and A-level maths. Highly recommended.

I honestly can’t recommend Granville enough. He taught me GCSE Maths, A Level Maths and Further Maths, and I genuinely don’t think I would have achieved the same results without his help. Thanks to his teaching, I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A* in A Level Maths. One of the things I appreciated most was how he made sure I truly understood every topic instead of just memorising methods. If I didn’t understand something, he would always find another way to explain it until it finally clicked. He had so many different ways of approaching the same concept, which made even the hardest topics much easier to grasp. He also came to every lesson with excellent resources and carefully prepared questions that really helped reinforce my understanding. What really sets Granville apart is how much he pushes you academically. He encourages you to think deeply, challenges your understanding and never lets you settle for doing the minimum. He always wants you to reach your full potenti

He’s a very supportive tutor who has helped me to achieve my best results in my a level studies .

A wonderfully supportive, patient tutor with a teaching style that makes any topic or challenge super accessible. Helped me through my GCSE maths and gave me a newfound confidence towards the subject. Highly recommend!

Granville tutored me for A-level maths in year 13. I went from a predicted C to achieving an A in just a few months thanks to him. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable in and around the topics he teaches, it’s obvious he really enjoys teaching and cares about your success. Our tutoring sessions consisted of working through past papers. When i started, it would take us just over 2hrs to finish a paper and by the end it was closer to 1hr. Normally when teachers use this style of teaching, when a student makes a wrong move in solving a question, the teacher corrects them and moves on. I remember Granville would always ask me why i chose to make the decision i did and within a few questions he would understand immediately where the gap in my knowledge was. It was this skill that i believe made my learning so rapid and effortless. I honestly think without his help, i wouldn’t have had my offer to go to uni without having to take a gap year. Thank you Granville!

I had regular/weekly 1 hour sessions. Great communication when booking recurring times aswell as switching days. Lessons had a prompt start and covered a large range of topics. From questions I brought aswell as content I didn’t understand. Content was covered in great depth allowing me to then move onto harder questions. Very easy to ask questions

Granville was a great tutor to me throughout my GSCE years 10 and 11 bringing me up to a top set class improving my grades massively.

Granville is a brilliant tutor. His lessons were well structured and he provided lots of useful resources. I remember thinking that being taught one on one would be intimidating, but Granville had a way of putting me at ease. He was able to target my weak spots, and could explain one concept in several different ways until it clicked. I’d highly recommend!
