你好 (Nǐ hǎo)! My name is Miaomiao Zhan, and I am a native Chinese speaker with a passion for sharing my language and culture with others

I've lived in the UK for the past two years, which has given me a deep understanding of the challenges of the language itself. My teaching methods are flexible and adapted to suit the needs of each individual student. My aim is to make the lessons as engaging and interactive as possible, incorporating a mix of reading, speaking, and listening exercises. Skills and experience: Multilingual Proficiency: Chinese: As a native speaker, I have an innate grasp of the language, idioms, and cultural expressions. English: My time in the UK has allowed me to achieve a high level of proficiency in English, understanding both linguistic and cultural aspects. Adaptability: Whether teaching a classroom of students or tutoring an individual, I pride myself on being able to adjust my teaching methods to the needs of my learners. Primary School Teaching Experience: For three months, I worked as a primary school teacher, where I instructed students in Chinese, English, and Mathematics. This experience has given me insights into structuring lessons, maintaining student engagement, and adapting teaching methods to individual needs. One-to-One Tutorial Experience: I've had the privilege of conducting one-to-one English tutorials with a fourth-grade student. This experience taught me the value of personalized attention and has equipped me to adjust my teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles and paces.
