Online Maths tutoring for Key Stage 1 to 4 with an experienced medical student
Advert description
Hi, my name is Adam. I am a first year medical student at the University of Bristol, with significant experience in tutoring in Maths and French. As a medical student, I know how important it is to be heard and understood, which is why I try my best to adapt my teaching style to each individual student. As a typical framework, I would like to ask my student to sit a baseline assessment so I can see both their strengths and their weaknesses. I would then work systematically through the curriculum with a heavier focus on the student's weaknesses, showing them how to approach and break down a difficult question in order to make it more simple. I would also start each lesson with a couple questions from the previous lesson's topic in order to embed the concept into my student's long term memory. Finally, in the lead up to exams, I would like to sit sets of mock papers with them in order to gauge their improvement in certain areas, and what needs to be covered again. Thank you for your consideration; I look forward to meeting you soon.
