Spanish tutor: i teach Spanish to GCSE students and adults

I am a multilingual and passionate linguist, and I love learning languages. I have been teaching Spanish for over seven years across multiple international educational establishments (in Italy and England) and online platforms. During this time, I have developed a repertoire of resources and activities students love. My love for teaching pushed me towards a career in the UK where I was awarded Languages Teacher Training Scholarship through the British Council. After my PGCE, I completed my induction year teaching Spanish in English secondary schools. I cater my lesson to students aged 11-18 and adapt my teaching according to their needs. I aim to provide tutoring classes for students who want to improve their communication skills or want to prepare for language certificates or GCSE exams. I also love to create lessons focused on the cultural aspects of different countries. I tend to use the MARS-EARS approach for beginners, where language is learnt through games and other fun activities. I use various digital resources that students can use after lessons to practice and reinforce their learning. I use platforms like flippity for games to play in pairs or in class, Quizlet, blooket for assessment for learning at the end of the lesson, and Google forms and padlet for writing. I am a pro member of genially, which students love as it allows them independent learning. I am passionate about creating engaging resources to help students to become more confident. I love conversation lessons, but I also enjoy helping students with their GCS exams
