Looking for a Friendly and Passionate Maths Tutor?

I'm a Software Engineer and Mechanical Engineering graduate with a deep love for Maths and problem-solving. I achieved an A in GCSE Maths, studied it at A-Level, and tackled plenty of Maths-heavy modules during my degree. I have experience tutoring and spent over 2 years working in a school as a teaching assistant, confidently teaching up to GCSE level. But my journey with Maths wasn’t always smooth—in school, I often found it frustrating until I learned strategies that gave me confidence and helped me approach problems systematically. That experience shaped how I help students today. Here’s what I can help with: - 🔢 Understanding Concepts: Breaking down tricky maths topics in a way that makes sense to you. - 📚 Exam Practice: Working through questions to build confidence and familiarity so students feel comfortable with exam techniques. - 🧘‍♂️ Managing Exam Pressure: Techniques to stay calm and focused during exams. - 👨‍🎓 Confidence Building: Encouraging a positive approach to problem-solving. My approach is patient and supportive because I understand that Maths can feel daunting at times. - 📞 Flexible Online Sessions: Learn from the comfort of your home. My availability is on weekdays from 4:30 PM, £25/hour for 1-on-1 lessons. If you’re curious to see if I’d be the right tutor for you or your child, let’s have a quick 5-minute chat to discuss your goals and needs 😊
