Experienced Biology teacher offering online IB, A Level, IGCSE and GCSE Biology tutoring

I am an experienced international school teacher and Head of Science, teaching Biology across secondary and post-16 levels, including IB, A Level, IGCSE and GCSE. My lessons are tailored to the individual student. We can focus on difficult topics, exam technique, data analysis, extended-response questions, practical skills, revision planning or preparing for upcoming assessments. I focus on helping students genuinely understand the Biology rather than simply memorise facts. I use clear explanations, modelling and targeted practice, then gradually hand more of the thinking back to the student so they become more confident and independent. Lessons often include working through exam-style questions, identifying gaps in understanding, improving use of key terminology and command terms, and developing better strategies for revision and recall. I work particularly well with students who understand more than their grades currently show, feel overwhelmed by the amount of content, or need support turning their knowledge into stronger exam answers.
