English Literature and Language Tutor for GCSE, A level, IB, iGCSE & KS3

I'm a UCL graduate who has been teaching for the past five years now both online and in person. I am DBS checked and SEND trained have tutored students across secondary school learning with a variety of priorities and learning abilities. My approach to tutoring prioritises finding student's strengths and challenges with the subject and long term goals. My main priority is to get students to a point where their subject knowledge, critical thinking and confidence is improved. My approach focuses on ensuring that sessions are engaging and are compatible with a student's learning style. Students at all levels sessions are always in control of what they would rather prioritise. These sessions are for their benefit and there are check ins on what is working or not working for them. I have left some reviews from my most recent cohort of parents and students for your reference if you wish to see. • “Aaliyah: who has been amazing.
