Emmanuel is a wonderful mentor, he goes above and beyond to help you, when you have questions. Thank you Emmanuel!

He did a wonderful job of explaining concepts in depth and in a comprehensive way! The only setback was that I wasn't always able to get in all my questions or receive help for all the tasks I was having difficulty with during our sessions.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Emmanuel Akita as an outstanding mentor. Throughout my Springboard course, Emmanuel provided invaluable assistance, particularly with technical questions, significantly enhancing my understanding of complex software engineering concepts. Emmanuel's extensive experience as a software engineer is evident in his ability to simplify intricate topics and offer practical solutions. His proficiency in designing and implementing responsive user interfaces using React, as well as his expertise in scalable architecture and cloud infrastructures, greatly enriched my learning experience. Beyond his technical acumen, Emmanuel's dedication to mentorship is commendable. He consistently demonstrated patience and a genuine commitment to my progress, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth. Emmanuel is super supportive and always encouraging. He really knows his stuff and has been incredibly helpful with all the technical aspects. As someone new to software engineering, I’ve really appreciated his patience and the way he explains things—it’s made my learning process a lot easier.

My experience with Emmanuel was nothing short of great. He grants not only wisdom and insight into the process but also a sense of community. He will push his students and show them a level of respect that some people are unfortunately lacking. Overall awesome experience, 10/10.

Emmanuel is a good teacher that goes beyond what it is required of him to help his students. He has helped me any time I had a question. Also, his way of teaching is effective and simplified. Encourages and supports to set up his students for success.

Akita is an awesome mentor I could find in the field he is always willing to help, and the fact that he is willing to help regardless if you are on his schedule or not is a sign of dedication and show how responsible he is towards all the students, I personally suggest him for any student or anyone needs of help.

Emmanuel (Akita) was great mentor. He was knowledgeable about the material and would help me whenever I got stuck on a problem. He also was a very kind person who took his time to explain concepts in multiple ways when I was struggling to make sure I understood. However, most importantly for me, he was someone who was easy to talk and open up to. He embodied what a real mentor should be: part teacher, part guide, part motivator.

Akita was incredibly helpful in troubleshooting a CORS API issue I was facing, providing clear guidance that helped me resolve the problem efficiently. Separately, he suggested using the Marvel API as an alternative, which opened up new possibilities for my project. On top of that, he took the time to help me assess the legitimacy of a co-founder job opportunity, offering valuable insights that helped me make a more informed decision. His expertise and willingness to assist make him a great resource for technical and career-related advice.

Emmanuel is an excellent mentor and instructor. His expertise is immediately evident, and his passion for education is unmatched. Beyond that, he demonstrates a genuine care for his students and has a heart of gold! He is an absolute gem!

Emmanuel has been really helpful at offering advice on how to improve my data/algorithm skills and even following up to see how I'm doing. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their journey as a software engineer.

Emmanuel has been more than just a mentor to me.He has been a teacher, a guide, and an inspiration. While I was under his mentorship, he not only shared his wealth of knowledge but also challenged me to think critically, push beyond my limits, and believe in my own potential. His ability to teach with patience and clarity made even the most complex lessons feel approachable and meaningful. Beyond his role as a mentor, Emmanuel led by example, demonstrating discipline, and a strong work ethic.
