Native German online tutor for adult learners

I have been having lessons with Andrea for nearly a year now and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn German. As a complete beginner, I knew nothing about German (or language learning in general) before starting lessons and with Andrea's patient and calm approach, I have seen major progress since I started. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to start their German language journey!

A wonderful teacher who explains everything clearly and easily. Helps improve weak areas. Excellent approach to learning and rapid development and results.

Really good! Patient, friendly and happy to adjust the pace of lessons depending on progress. A good mixture of textbook learning and conversation practice.

I’ve had a truly wonderful experience learning German with Andrea! She is incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, which made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. Her teaching style is very effective—she takes the time to explain everything clearly and always made sure I fully understood each concept before moving on. I especially appreciated how supportive and friendly she was, creating a comfortable environment where I felt confident practicing even when I made mistakes. Thanks to Andrea, my German has improved a lot and I’ve grown to love the language even more. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn or improve their German!

I highly recommend Andrea. She uses an excellent workbook with on line tutorials and exercises, combined with notes made as the lesson progresses and the whole lesson is recorded for revision. She is able to set the pace to suit my abilities and makes every lesson really enjoyable. I particularly like the way she includes German culture in lessons and the way that this influences the structure of the language and phrases. I was resistant to on line learning, having attended group classes previously but the way Andrea tailors each lesson to individual needs has converted me.

Andrea is an amazing Tutor. Every class is recorded and she would provide you with notes she captures during the class. More importantly, she is quite flexible in terms of topics coverage where you might want some extra practice on. She also identifies your weakness and brings in extra exercises tailored for your improvement. I would totally recommend her for a 1:1 session for building a strong base starting in German.

I find Andrea an excellent and very competent Teacher of German, i would highly recommend her for your German Language requirements

Andrea is an excellent German Language Teacher. I was looking for an experienced Tutor who can work with a complete novice, myself, who had no prior knowledge of the German language. Before my first lesson, Andrea spoke with me about my reasons for learning German, the level I wanted to reach, the approach she took on training and recommended reading. I have a lesson each week of one hour. The session starts as a conversation to practice listening and speaking in German. This involves discussing activities whether they are relating to home life or work; both being very relevant in conversational dialogues. Following this there is a review of the homework from the previous week, and then moving onto the next section in the A1+ course book. When something is unclear, she takes the time to explain, including the cultural considerations between English and German. If you are looking for a German Tutor, then I would recommend Andrea. Andrea is a very good teacher with effective methods of fostering learning and engaging the language student. Very importantly, she is personable and easy to get along with in our one-on-one sessions. Her price is also very reasonable compared to other options. I am an American ex-pat now living in Germany. I came here with 0 knowledge of the German language, but since Andrea became my teacher I have made great progress towards communicating with others daily, exploring German culture, and passing the necessary language tests required for immigration. I recommend at least one session a week to keep learning momentum going. Thanks Andrea!

Andrea is a wonderful tutor and a warm and lovely person. I enjoy our lessons tremendously. Her teaching grants me both a deep understanding of the structure of language and flexibility of speaking it. Each time I’m visiting Berlin I can tell how my German is improving

Andrea is an excellent, reliable and personable tutor. Andrea combines textbook teaching and her expertise as a translator and native German speaker to progressively increase German language skills. I am enjoying my weekly German lessons.

I recently completed a series of online German lessons with Andrea, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Andrea's teaching style is professional and engaging. She tailored the lessons to my pace, making the learning process personalized and enjoyable. The assigned homework was incredibly useful for practice, reinforcing the subjects covered in the lessons. I highly recommend Andrea to anyone seeking quality, personalized German lessons online. Danke schön, Andrea!
