Qualified QTS Science Teacher | GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics | AQA & Cambridge

Advert description

I am a qualified Secondary Science Teacher (QTS & PGCE) with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biology and experience tutoring students since 2022. Before becoming a teacher, I completed clinical placements as a Physician Associate trainee, giving me a strong understanding of Biology and medical science that I bring into every lesson. I specialise in GCSE and IGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A Level Biology, teaching students following the AQA and Cambridge (CAIE) curricula. My lessons are personalised to each student and focus on building a solid understanding of scientific concepts, improving exam technique and increasing confidence. I use diagrams, retrieval practice, exam-style questions and personalised feedback to help students master challenging topics and achieve their target grades. Whether you're aiming to move from a Grade 5 to a Grade 7 or striving for the highest grades, I will provide structured lessons, clear explanations and continuous support to help you succeed.

Thereza

I’m Thereza and Ana was my science tutor during my GCSE’s . I just want to take a moment and give her a massive shout out for how amazing she is . She helped me loads during my GCSES . She cares about all her students and she always tries to accommodates them as best as she can due to their needs which i believe is extremely important especially when u have exams. I cannot recommend Ana enough as she always goes above and beyond. Her lessons are engaging , well- organised and Ana would always try to bring something new to the lessons and try to find the best teaching techniques that help you learn faster. She is incredibly patient and always takes the time to explain things in different ways until everyone understands. Their encouragement and belief in her students have given me much more confidence in my abilities especially during my GCSE’s . What i personally believe makes Ana stand out most is her kindness, dedication, and passion for teaching. Ana creates a positive environment

Maria

The only teacher that had made me understand the meaning of the topics and to get my grades up!
