Master psychology with an MSc graduate — theory, research, methods & study skills

I am a highly motivated MSc Psychology graduate from The Open University, with a strong academic background in theory, research methods, and applied psychology. I hold a Distinction in my MSc and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, having completed in-depth research projects exploring mental well-being, social psychology, and the benefits of outdoor activity on mental health. Alongside my studies, I have worked with individuals and groups in professional and therapeutic settings. I have worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in an inpatient mental health setting, providing assessments, therapeutic support, and group interventions for patients. I also have a long-standing background as a Group Fitness Instructor, developing skills in communication, adaptability, and building rapport with diverse groups. I offer tutoring for A level and BSc psychology students, helping you improve your understanding and application of theory, research methods, and study skills. Whether you want to strengthen exam performance, enhance coursework, or deepen your grasp of psychological concepts, I can provide tailored, structured support to meet your goals. My tutoring approach combines academic knowledge with practical experience, clear explanations, and effective study strategies, ensuring lessons are engaging, understandable, and directly relevant to your curriculum. I am committed to nurturing confidence, motivation, and academic growth, guiding students to reach their full potential in psychology. Technical skills include SPSS, Qualtrics, and Microsoft 365, which I incorporate where relevant to support data analysis, research assignments, and coursework preparation. I am approachable, professional, and adaptable, offering both online and in-person tutoring to suit your needs.
