Trainee Computer Science teacher and former PwC software engineer: GCSE and A-Level Computer Science tutoring
Advert description
Trainee secondary Computer Science teacher (Warwick PGCE, BCS Scholar), Leeds CS graduate (2:1) and former PwC software engineer, with an Enhanced DBS. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Computer Science for all main exam boards. I start by finding the gaps, then work in small steps: I model an example, we do one together, then the student tries one and explains their reasoning. Students write and debug their own Python, and I teach command words and answer structure using past papers. Topics include programming, algorithms, data representation, systems, networks, databases and NEA support.
