Qualified GCSE & A-Level Psychology Teacher AQA

I am a qualified Psychology teacher with experience in teaching GCSE and A-Level AQA Psychology and Sociology. With excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly, I am patient and will work with students to ensure students are making progress and excelling academically. Being a supportive and empathetic teacher, I am able to connect with students on a personal level which allows me to have a good understanding of pupils’ strengths and weaknesses. I have a background in mentoring and tutoring students who initially struggled but ultimately succeeded in passing their A levels. I am able to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and expressing their academic concerns without fear of judgment. I understand that studying and retaining a lot of information may be challenging therefore, I will tailor teaching to suit unique learning style while emphasising targeted exam preparation. I will support students with understanding content and assessment objectives as well as practicing exam style questions to ensure that the top band is achieved. Sessions will focus on addressing students misconceptions and working on areas that are challenging. I look forward to working with you, supporting you and helping you reach your maximum potential!
