I view myself and the learners as individuals climbing a mountain, I just happen to be a few steps ahead or have climbed the mountain so what I offer is guidance and an invitation to think and see differently to help learners excel faster and better through learning from mine and others mistakes. To me is of paramount importance the learner feels they are leading their learning and not just being told what to do. The best teacher is one who is continuously learning and I believe I am learning best from the students who are engaged with the content I teach, as being a teacher who just talks and lectures is not a good teacher, I know I know nothing as the infamous philosopher Socrates once said and the best teachers for me are often my students.
