Online GCSE Tutor for English Language, Literature & French
Advert description
Dear employer, I am Shekinah Sombrio. I am a Psychology BSc student at the University of Manchester. I am a tutor for MyTutor, an online teaching platform and have been working with them for a year. I teach GCSE English Language and Literature and also French GCSE and A-Level.
In my teaching, I help my students feel more confident about their subjects. I make sure that they learn effective revision and exam techniques ensuring that they feel well-prepared for their up-coming assessments and exams.
My teaching style includes a strong focus on past exam papers, lots of discussion to allow for ideas and questions to be asked and independent tasks followed by group marking to improve student answers. I also believe in catering the material to suit the student’s needs so briefing before lesson takes place to understand the student’s way of learning in order to help them reach their potential.
I am very keen to hear back from you,
Shekinah Sombrio, Tutor for GCSE & A-Level
