Maths and English tutor providing lessons to all abilities!

Welcome to my profile! As a passionate student who adored maths and english during school, I relay this enthusiasm for learning in my lessons. Having tutored for both mathematics and English for the last 5 years (Primary school maths and english, 11+ exam preparation and GCSE maths), I am confident I can help you or your child achieve their goals and grow more confident in the subject! In my teaching, warmth and encouragement are the cornerstones of my approach. I believe in creating a learning environment where my students know it is okay to make mistakes and ask for help. No matter what level or confidence in the area, we will adapt the lessons to the teaching style that suits my student best. Whether we're diving into complex grammar or breaking down a mathematical equation, I strive to teach with enthusiasm and patience in every lesson. By drawing connections between everyday experiences and the things we are studying, I try to make even the most abstract topics easier to comprehend. This not only keeps my students engaged but also helps them see the practical applications of what they're learning. I have a strong academic foundation and a deep appreciation for understanding maths and English. This, along with experience I have gained from my last 5 years of tutoring, enables my students to follow along and understand well when i'm teaching. But I believe what truly sets me apart is my unwavering dedication to each student's success. I approach every session with enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to see my students thrive. With me, you can trust that your will not only excel in your chosen topic, but also develop invaluable skills and confidence that will serve well as knowledge in the subject grows!
