Marjan has been supportive throughout my daughter’s tutoring over the past few years. My daughter started with her when she was struggling to achieve anything higher than a grade 4 and she really wanted to apply for dentistry at uni so needed a real boost in her grades. Marjan helped turn this around and it’s beautiful to see how much my daughter has grown in her confidence as she was achieving grade 8 in her mocks earlier this year! Marjan really made sure she understood the content, I remember a lot of exam practices, and the video tutorials she would send after the lessons which was amazing. It was unlike any other tutor we’ve had for any of my children, who usually only provide support during the lesson. So we found it really helpful that we received a lot of support outside of the lessons, too. Would definitely recommend Marjan to everyone!

Honestly, Marjan’s just a really good tutor for both English and Maths. She actually explains things in a way that makes sense, not just textbook-style stuff. Like, if you don’t get something, she’ll break it down properly and won’t make you feel dumb for asking. With English, she helps you understand what you’re reading, how to write better, and how to get your point across properly. She’s really good at helping with essays, grammar, and all that. And with Maths, she’s super patient. Even if you’ve got no clue what’s going on, she’ll go through it with you until it clicks. She doesn’t rush you or move on until you fully get it. Plus, she actually cares. You can tell she wants you to improve and do well. She makes it feel comfortable, like you can be honest about what you’re struggling with—and she’ll help you through it. That’s what makes her stand out.

Marjan stepped in and helped me a lot whilst I was struggling in Mathematics at GCSEs last year. There was only a few months left till my exams and felt a little hopeless since I was only achieving 5/6 in my mocks, but Marjan really gave me that boost of confidence and went through the whole syllabus again over a few weeks, targeting areas I struggled in the most and teaching me the best way to approach exam-styled questions.
