Experienced online Mathematics tutor providing focused one-to-one support

Hi, I am an experienced tutor who is determined to make Mathematics feel less like a chore and more like a puzzle we can solve together. I hold a Distinction degree in MSc Computer Science from Birmingham City University, and I keep my knowledge sharp by contributing to machine learning projects on GitHub, leveraging my mathematics knowledge to further the development of AI. This allows me to bring you not just exam knowledge, but real-world, cutting edge perspective on why maths is so powerful and essential. My experience volunteering with Action Tutoring (an education charity) has given me a front-row seat to a simple truth: focused, one-to-one support doesn't just boost confidence, it has the power to fundamentally transform a student's trajectory and turn predicted grades into surpassed expectations. My lessons are structured for success but tailored to you. We’ll first pinpoint exact gaps in your understanding, then rebuild those foundations with clear, intuitive explanations. Finally, we’ll apply those solid concepts to conquer exam-style questions confidently. Every student receives a personalised learning plan focused on their specific goals, whether it’s mastering a tricky topic or achieving a top grade. When I’m not tutoring, you might find me out running, practising calisthenics, or getting stuck into a good book. These hobbies remind me that progress comes with practice, patience, and a positive mindset, something I bring into every lesson.
