English tutor offering lessons to students of all ages

I have 22 years experience teaching children aged between 5 - 15 years old. I have lived and taught in United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Bali and held a range of school-based positions in a variety of schools, including teacher, literacy coordinator, school consultant. I love to teach all aspects of literacy and I have a particular specialism for students who are academically-advanced. I love to use creative teaching approaches including digital technologies, stories, thinking skills, collaboration, high level questioning techniques and much more. Currently, I am a PhD student with the University of Bath exploring sustainability education using a range of literacy-based responses (poetry, narratives, descriptive writing). My personal and professional life experiences mean that I bring an awareness of international education, cultural sensitivities, vast knowledge and expertise to support a wide range of learners. I am also a learner who can empathise with your learning process!
