I'm a senior academic, qualitative researcher and experienced mentor with 36 years of professional experience spanning higher education, business leadership, organisational development and consultancy. My academic career includes senior appointments as Head of Subject, Assistant Professor, Principal Lecturer, Course Director and Student Experience Manager, alongside extensive experience in teaching, research supervision and educational quality assurance. I hold a PhD, Master of Education and MA in Management. I'm also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Chartered Educational Assessor and experienced external examiner. My background combines academic leadership with professional assessment, corporate learning and development, and educational consultancy.
