Mandarin Tutor of all Ages with over 12 years experience of Mandarin Tuition

As someone who has studied Mandarin since the age of 18, I am a competent and effective Mandarin tutor. My years of dedicated learning have provided me with a solid foundation in the language, including proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Throughout my studies, I have gained a deep understanding of Chinese grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, enabling me to effectively explain complex concepts to learners. Moreover, my own experience of learning Mandarin as a non-native speaker allows me to empathise with the challenges and difficulties that students may face. I am patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching, which allows me to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Additionally, I stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and resources to ensure that my lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each student. With my passion for the language and my extensive Mandarin knowledge, I am confident in my ability to guide and empower learners on their journey to mastering Mandarin. My years working in China at the Television Station and British Embassy provided me with a strong understanding of Chinese culture and I believe this assists me in providing an understanding of mandarin that goes beyond language.
