Fun music tutor with expertise specialising in vocal tuition, songwriting, production and artist development

I was taught by Becca at the Academy of Music & Sound and I highly recommend her as a tutor. She is great one on one and its where she truly shines. A mentor in knowledge and how to have a great mindset.

To be absolutely frank, having been frightened to make my own beats, after working with some incredible producers on my first album, it was going to take a lot to get me over the first hurdle, and back involved with DAWs again. But Becca's HipHop short course did all that and more for me, through the Academy. Approachable, encouraging, no bullshit and a palpable passion for HipHop within a wider musical tapestry, Becca is made for teaching. She was a guiding hand and the one-on-ones were absolutely invaluable. Not only does she care about each and every one of her students, but she is at the top of her game professionally right now, and eager to share her knowledge and expertise for the common good. She leads from the top. The course was an important keystone on my musical journey. There would be no second album from me withouy Becca and that course. Sign up today, whatever your musical path, you won't regret it. Becca is the best in Scotland.

amazing energy, empathic, driven and always brings colour, big smiles and funkiness to a lesson. Absolute belter of a teacher. Becca brings her true self to the class and has a contagious good attitude and fresh approach to teaching.

Becca really knows her stuff, she explains things in a way that is easy to understand and is a joy to be around when both brushing up on old skills and learning new ones. Highly recommended!

Becca is an amazing tutor who I highly recommend. She creates a positive atmosphere to work in whilst also providing the honest feedback required to develop as an Artist. Becca helped me achieve the authentic sound I wanted over a short number of lessons.

Becca led an online music course I signed up for. Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better teacher or mentor. Becca created a supportive, collaborative environment where I felt comfortable sharing what I had created and was excited to come back to each week. Her feedback is great, her passion for music bleeds through and she gets excited when you've done well and offers good constructive feedback so you can better yourself. Since finishing the course Becca has become a friend I can reach out to for questions and help on my music endeavours and is always there with support if you need it.
