Experienced Canadian ESOL teacher with 2+ year of full time experience!

I have qualifications from the TEFL Organization not only for Basic English, but also Online teaching as well as English exams such as TOIEC, TOFL, and IELTS. I have been an online English language teacher for over 2 years, with people all over the world, like Brazil, Turkey, Korea, Japan, China, Mexico, France, Spain, etc. and from many different ages... I've had students from 3 years old to 75! I believe in an all round approach to teaching English: conversation, reading, grammar, listening and writing, as they all help each other and make your English ability stronger with time. But above all, I believe in being kind. Languages are endless, and always change. It doesn't help to put awful pressure on yourself, or to feel like you're not getting better. We will work together to help your confidence and reach your goals. YOU'LL GET THERE, I PROMISE! Some reviews from past and present students (all are verified on the Cambly website): Carolina, Brazil June 2023 'Chrissie is so much fun!!! Talking to her is like talking to an old friend with whom you share many interests. She is very outgoing and will surely make you feel comfortable speaking up—definitely one of my fav tutors.' Rie, Japan February 2022 'She is very friendly and also open for wide range of conversation topics. I really enjoy a session with her so that 30 minutes feels like a minute. I recommend her to English learners of all levels.' Grace, Japan May 2022 'She`s a great teacher! She`s always kind and listens to me patiently.'
