Chinese Tutor (Online) | Build Your Speaking Confidence Through Real-World Conversations

I'm a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Taiwan with a professional background in international affairs and geopolitics, specifically focusing on Asia Pacific regions. This September, I'll be moving to the UK to pursue a Master's degree in International Relations. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my interest in global affairs, and I believe language learning becomes much more engaging when it's connected to real-world events and meaningful discussions. I have experience helping international students in Taiwan improve their Chinese speaking skills through conversational practice and practical, everyday communication. My lessons are best suited for learners who already have a basic foundation in Mandarin and are looking to build greater fluency and confidence. My teaching approach is centered around current news and real-world topics. During each lesson, we'll explore interesting stories and discuss them through guided questions and open conversations. You'll be encouraged to express your opinions, exchange ideas, and think critically—all in Chinese. This interactive approach naturally expands your vocabulary, improves your speaking fluency, and helps you gain the confidence to communicate in authentic, real-life situations. If you're looking to improve your Chinese through engaging conversations while staying informed about what's happening around the world, I'd love to help you on your language-learning journey. Feel free to book a lesson, and let us get started.
