Advert description
Skills and Experience
I am an experienced teacher with a strong background supporting students across a range of abilities, including those with SEND and SEMH needs. I have experience delivering GCSE and A-Level tutoring online, helping students improve academic performance, organisation, and confidence. My work includes setting achievable targets, tracking progress, and adapting learning to suit individual needs. I also bring coaching experience from triathlon and swimming, which has strengthened my ability to motivate learners, build resilience, and support long-term development.
How I Will Teach
My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive, and flexible. I begin by understanding each student’s goals and current challenges, then break learning into clear, manageable steps. I use a mix of discussion, guided practice, and reflective questioning to build both understanding and confidence. I focus on developing independent study skills, organisation, and positive habits, while regularly reviewing progress and adapting sessions to keep students engaged and moving forward
