Qualified teacher and examiner- I aim to teach students to understand concepts rather than learn by rote

My tutoring sessions with Amanda have helped hugely with my A-Level Biology, the lessons are kept interesting and fun, whilst still being incredibly informative. Amanda clearly has a lot of experience with not only the course material but also the techniques to answer exam questions which has helped me a lot!

Amanda tutored me for around 4 years in science and geography. She was an amazing tutor and is the main reason I was able to achieve my amazing results.

Super friendly! has helped with revision notes, tips on effective revision, recapping and consolidating topics, exam questions and exam prep. Really helps understand the topics in A level biology (even the really hard bits)- Would definitely recommend!

I think that Amanda really covers everything and goes at a good pace for me to learn at! I really enjoy my lessons with her

Amanda has helped me feel so much more confident with Biology A level and helped me move my predicted grade up! Thank you!

Amanda is enthusiastic and supportive. Makes sure she knows her students goals and inspires them to achieve. Highly recommend.

So so helpful, I understand biology a lot better because Amanda explains things really thoroughly, I would highly recommend!!

Amanda has helped me to improve so much in Biology a-level. She makes things so easy to understand and has really helped me to improve my exam technique. She has also provided me with so many amazing resources which have further helped me to advance. She has helped my massively with all areas of the a-level and I definitely feel so much more confident going into my exams because of her!

I find Amanda's lessons to be very engaging and useful. She provides good notes to help with answering exam questions and doesn't mind repeating multiple times for you to understand

Amanda is an absolutely incredible tutor, she made understanding topics that I had struggled with for weeks seem so simple, as well as hugely improving my exam technique by helping to apply the knowledge to exam questions, which had also been tripping me up. It's honestly not an exaggeration to say that she saved my biology A Level. I really enjoyed our sessions and would highly recommend her.

My daughter has only been working with Amanda for a short time but she finds their lessons really useful and have helped in her learning. She can always tell me exactly what has been covered by the end of the session.
