Native British English Teacher | 15 Years' Experience | Engaging Lessons for All Ages

I have a degree in Creative Writing, a TESOL qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and I achieved a distinction in the theory of second language acquisition in the DELTA diploma. With over 15 years of experience teaching English as a second language, I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. During my time at the British Council Japan, I refined my skills and developed into a highly professional and engaging teacher. I specialise in designing lessons that are not only educational but also enjoyable and interactive, ensuring that students feel a sense of achievement as they progress. My approach focuses on making learning both effective and engaging, helping students build confidence and real-world language skills. In addition to teaching English as a second language, I have a strong academic background in English, Literature, Media Studies, and Film Studies, having achieved high A-levels in these subjects. This allows me to support native English-speaking students in their studies, helping them develop critical thinking, analytical writing, and a deeper understanding of texts and media. Whether you're looking to improve your English as a second language or seeking guidance in literature, media, or film studies, I offer tailored lessons that cater to your individual learning needs.
