Artist and Art tutor offering creative mentorship and support with GCSE, A-level, and university applications

I first contacted Viktoriya about seven months ago to learn watercolour and make some keepsakes and postcards from my travels. Since then, she has encouraged me to explore my creativity much further, and we’ve moved on to experimenting with all kinds of materials, from coloured pencils to acrylics and mixed media. It’s become such a lovely part of my week to spend an hour creating with her. She’s a wonderful and dedicated artist, and I’ve really enjoyed learning from her, hearing about her experiences, and having her guidance as I develop my own work. I’m so grateful for her mentorship and would strongly recommend her!

I took part in one of Viktoriya's group watercolour classes and really enjoyed it. She was a great teacher and gave us the freedom to develop our own ideas while also guiding us and teaching us techniques. She had prepared a lovely design for us to work from, but the class never felt like we were all expected to create exactly the same thing. I really enjoyed being able to experiment and make the painting my own. She also introduced us to some really interesting artists I hadn't come across before, which gave me lots of new ideas and inspiration. Viktoriya created such a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, and left the class feeling inspired to keep painting. I would definitely recommend her!

I am incredibly grateful for Viktoriya's guidance, which has completely transformed my daughter's painting and sketching techniques, but also improved her research and critical thinking. Viktoriya is such a great teacher! I did a few group water colouring lessons with her as a complete novice, and it was such a great experience. She clearly knows her craft really well and offers really great explanations for each method and from how she worked with each individual in the group, I could tell she is very capable of tailoring her teaching style and advice depending on her students' needs. Will definitely go back to working with her when I have more time!!!

I contacted Viktoriya because my daughter needed help with her GCSE Art. She was predicted a 6, didn’t know how to improve, and wasn’t getting the support she needed from her art teacher at school. After one session my daughter felt far more positive and encouraged, with a clear idea of what to improve in her sketchbook to raise her predicted grade. Together they worked on both her coursework and her exam book and my daughter found a much more personal and authentic direction in her art. Viktoriya taught her to make creative decisions quickly, experiment with new materials and do strong research for her theme and the artists related to it. As someone who always admired art but doubted my own abilities, I decided to explore my creative side later in life. Enrolling in lessons with Viktoriya was the best decision I made. Viktoriya is an incredible teacher who knows how to bring out your creative side. She made the basics of watercolour painting and drawing easy to understand and fun to learn, while also being encouraging and very patient. Thanks to Viktoriya, I've discovered a new way to express myself creatively through fun watercolour paintings, taking inspiration from my everyday surroundings. Viktoriya has been an amazing support throughout my A Level Art coursework.
