I work at the top 50th best secondary school in London, Forest Gate Community School, which has provided me with outstanding CPD

I am a lively and enthusiastic English tutor with an excellent track record of success for both English language and literature GCSE. I have a simple, but effective approach to my tuition sessions, whereby I always model a top quality answer first, and therefore set the precedent quite high. I succinctly explain the model -step by step. Next, I always highlight the high frequency errors of the various exam questions, ensuring that students do not repeat these mistakes as they’re easy to do. Finally, I get the student to mimic/mirror the process independently. I then provide feedback with a clear target/s.
